 Mathematica is so powerful both in the calculation and plotting, what's more, the two different aspect can be interoperable smmothly.
here begins form the vary basic plotting.
when meet singularities, try to use appropriate scale:

 how to pot the differential function curve?
using NSolve, then plot it.
suppose we have a differential function:

 we can use this command:
    NDSolve[{y'[x] == x^2 - y[x]^2, y[0] == 1}, y, {x, 0, 5}]
we get the output:
    {{y->InterpolatingFunction[{{0.,5.}},<>]}}
then plot it:
    Plot[y[x]/.%,{x,0,5}]
